Since tiny hands and curious eyes,
It’s never been a real surprise
That hidden under gentle smiles
Was a mind so versatile.
Neurons firing faster than the wind,
Taking all world’s wonders in -
Calculating, pondering
Deliberately wandering.
Kind and cute and generous
Sweet, funny, adventurous
Soft of heart and sharp of brain,
Not a thing he can’t explain.
Connecting dots and coding lines,
Hoping that the graphs decline
Always running out of time,
Thinking at the speed of light.
Giving lectures, papers published
Blink and he’s Stanford-established:
Just yesterday he learned to talk
Now he’s teaching machines to walk.
Where this thrilling journey goes
What comes next, nobody knows,
But there’s bound to be success
When life’s played like a game of chess.
How lucky that we get to see
Who this little boy will be,
Just keep going, aiming high -
We’re always here to help you fly.
