HOPELESS ROMANTIC
Whenever I get even a glimpse of an idea for a song, I run to my phone and record these silly little voice memos to make sure I never forget it (and maybe sometimes even use it). Below, you can hear the process of writing ‘Hopeless Romantic’, the song that started this whole album.
From the very first melodic draft that I thought of when I was cleaning my room (you can hear the vacuum cleaner in the background of the first recording haha), to the fully fleshed-out structure with chord progression on the piano, this is how the song was born. I kept the titles of the recordings identical to the ones in my phone because it gives you another little insight into the puzzle of creating music. :)
